Tim Franklin

My path to Richmond Community College has been interesting and the timing could not have been better.  I am a Florida State graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Criminology; not knowing exactly what to do with my degree I moved home from school and went to work for my uncle in the electrical business. It was during my time employed by JELGO Electrical that my interest in the electrical field arise and subsequently led me to the Electrical Utility Substation and Relay Technology Program at RCC.

My experience at RCC has been nothing but the best.  Each of my teachers is competent, passionate, and influential.  Approaching graduation I can honestly say I am prepared for the working world and ready for the tasks my job will bring my way. I could not be more appreciative of the education I’ve received and the opportunities presented for successfully completing the EUSRT program at RCC.
