Upon receiving my acceptance letter into the Radiography program at AshevilleBuncombe Technical Community College (A-B Tech) I instantly knew that my life, as well as the lives of my family, had positively been changed for the better. That letter was the ticket to a new start. Having worked in state government for years and more recently running a photography business in a faltering economy, I realized the potential of what a career in the Allied Health industry could provide.

A-B Tech was the shining beacon in my distance. Although the program has been demanding and rigorous, it has afforded me the opportunity to begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. All of the instructors and clinical staff affiliated with AB-Tech have treated me with dignity and respect and have always been there for questions, support, and in general a shoulder to lean on if needed. Fundamental to the Radiography program are the college's professionalism and knowledgeable staff. The proof is in the graduates the program produces. I am proud of my training and to be a part of western North Carolina's central educational hub. The light is getting brighter. Let's see what the future holds.
