I love College of The Albemarle. During my first year at COA, I was able to make the President’s list each semester, while also serving as a member of the COA Baseball Team and as Vice President of the PTK Honor Society. During the summer of 2011, I served in the school systems throughout Guayaquil, Ecuador and I completed my Associate in Arts and Associate in General Education with highest honors. During the fall semester of 2011, I took on a course load of 34 credits/13 classes. This was split between COA, Pitt CC, and Cape Fear CC. I finished the semester with a 4.0 GPA. I have served as a Student Ambassador and as the President of PTK. This season I will be serving as a team captain for the COA Baseball team. I recently passed the Real Estate Exam for NC and have begun working as an agent for Long and Foster Real Estate. This upcoming May I will complete my Associate in Business Administration as I am taking 27 credits/10 classes during the spring 2012 semester. I will then be moving on to UNC-Chapel Hill. The opportunities offered at COA truly do change everything.
