How Registered Apprenticeship Works
A Registered Apprenticeship is a structured way to gain new skills while staying with your employer. It combines hands-on learning with classroom instruction, allowing you to continue earning, learning, and growing.
- Register in the Program
You know that you are in a Registered Apprenticeship Program when you sign your apprenticeship agreement that outlines the details of the program. This is important because only registered programs earn transferable credentials. - Earn Credentials
When you complete, you will receive a portable certification that you have achieved occupational mastery, we call this your Journeyworker certificate. This nationally and industry-recognized credential can help you qualify for promotions, leadership roles, and higher-paying jobs. - Advance Your Career
Once you complete your Registered Apprenticeship, you’ll have the experience and qualifications to move up in your current company or explore new opportunities in your field.
