Position Description

DEFINITION:

The Enterprise Applications Administrator performs a variety of complex duties including the installation, configuration, operation, troubleshooting and support of enterprise software and systems. This position is the primary person responsible for Softdocs, the electronic forms and document imaging system. The Softdocs administrator builds electronic forms and workflows, sets up and maintains the document imaging storage, and assists users in the use of Softdocs.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:

  • Receives direct supervision and/or technical direction from the Enterprise Applications Manager  
  • Exercises no supervision

 

Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

 

ESSENTIAL AND OTHER IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS STATEMENTS:

Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Essential Functions:

  • Installation, configuration, management, troubleshooting and maintenance of enterprise applications and servers
  • Perform updates and patches on enterprise applications and servers
  • Support end-users in the usage of enterprise applications
  • Work with vendor support to facilitate updates and troubleshoot when necessary
  • Develop new Softdocs forms and document imaging processes
  • Develop or collaborate on custom web applications
  • Cross-train on all applications supported by the Enterprise Applications Team

Other Important Functions:

  • Assess the relevancy and impact of applications and make recommendations for changes.
  • Monitor logs, looking for any issues.
  • Document processes
  • Maintain records of completed work
  • Provide recommendations for purchasing enterprise applications
  • Evening and/or weekend work will be required as necessary to maintain critical systems
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

  • Windows server administration and security
  • Relational database concepts and SQL query writing
  • Web technologies including HTML and CSS
  • Programming skills including JavaScript and PHP

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES:

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.  A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
