Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major course work in education or a related field.
- Five years of increasingly responsible experience in education, including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility.
- Two years of instructional technology.
- Knowledge of adult education assessment.

- Prepare, document and maintain records.

Position Description
The role of the Lead Instructor, College and Career Readiness (CCR) is to provide learning experiences, facilitate the learning process, advise students and seek professional developmental activities for Adult High School (AHS), HSE (High School Equivalency) and other Adult Basic Education programs. The Lead Instructor will work with Student Development to advise curriculum students. The Lead Instructor will also work with the Coordinator, Pathways and Testing and designated CCR programs through coordination, instruction of staff and instructional personnel responsible for these programs. He/she performs technical and instructional duties relative to the assigned areas of responsibility and plans with the staff working in the CCR department as requested. The Lead Instructor will assist CCR faculty with program evaluation, retention efforts, instructional and curriculum support, and other professional development to ensure program quality.
The Lead Instructor receives supervision from the Director, College and Career Readiness.
