***The North Carolina Community College System (System Office) is located in downtown Raleigh, but this position can also be performed at a duty station at one of the 58 community colleges throughout the state.
The North Carolina Community College System (System Office) is a statewide network of 58 public community colleges. The system enrolls over 500,000 students annually. It is the 3rd largest in the nation based on the number of colleges. It also provides data to the North Carolina Learning Object Repository by collecting, contributing, and sharing digital learning resources for use in traditional or distance learning environments. Some key job functions are as follows:
- Provide expertise, guidance, resources and support to 58 community colleges through the Help Desk Ticket solution. This will require use of email, Webex telephone, Teams meetings and/or on-site visits to college campuses.
- Provide functional and technical guidance and direction in problem resolution for assigned functional areas (AR/CR for both Workforce and Curriculum, Student Account activity, Financial Aid postings, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, etc.) to the 58 community colleges.
- Provide support for college financial staff for existing and newly implemented CIS Financial modules.
- Participate in the identification of application training needs and provide application training to college end-users.
- Availability to visit any of the 58 NC community college campuses to provide resolution, training and/or support.
- This position will be assigned to a duty station at one of the NC Community Colleges.
