SUBJECT: Amendment of 1B SBCCC 100.1 Definitions

 

On August 19, 2022, the State Board of Community Colleges (“SBCC”) voted
to amend State Board Code,1B SBCCC 100.1 – Definitions. This rule sets forth the
definitions of the various instructional delivery methods. The amendment adds a
definition for “Hybrid Flexible (HyFlex)” to the types of approved instruction methods
for community colleges.

 

The adoption will be effective September 1, 2022. The new rule will be
published in the NC Community College System’s website,
www.nccommunitycolleges.edu/sbcccode. For your convenience, a copy of the
rule in its final form is attached to this memorandum.
