NCACCP Hosts Statewide Community College Press Conference, Community College Day in the General Assembly and Local Community College Days

RALEIGH – The NC Association of Community College Presidents (NCACCP) have planned a series of local community college recognition days in the eight (8) prosperity zones around the state. These community college recognition days, inclusive of all community colleges within the zones, bring awareness to the programs and services offered by our 58 community colleges. Below is the schedule of events listed by zone:

Community College Day in the General Assembly

In addition to the local community college days, the NCACCP will host Community College Day in the General Assembly on March 29, 2017 in Raleigh.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. and include interactive simulations and demonstrations of feature community college programs in the 1000 and 1300 court of the NC Legislative Building.  The event will be highlighted by a noon Statewide Press Conference in the Legislative Press Conference Room.
