State Board of Community Colleges cancels Thursday committee meetings, delays start of Friday meetings

RALEIGH – Because of inclement weather, the State Board of Community Colleges is canceling its committee meetings on Thursday, Jan. 18. In addition, meetings of the full board and the Transition Committee on Friday, Jan. 19, will begin later than originally scheduled.

The full board will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday. The board’s Transition Committee, which is conducting the search for the community college system’s next president, will meet Friday at 2 p.m.

The meetings are open to the public and will take place at the NC Community College System Office, 200 W. Jones St.
