State Board of Community Colleges Presidential Search Committee to meet Aug. 3

RALEIGH, N.C. – The State Board of Community Colleges Presidential Search Committee will meet virtually on Aug. 3.

 

The committee was formed in June to search for a successor to NC Community College System President Peter Hans. Hans was recently elected to serve as the next president of the University of North Carolina System. He will assume that role in August.

 

The meeting on Aug. 3 is set for 10 a.m. It is open to the public, but some portions may be conducted in closed session, pursuant to state law.
