State Board of Community Colleges Presidential Search Committee to Meet

RALEIGH – The Presidential Search Committee of the State Board of Community Colleges will meet Monday, October 12 at 10 a.m. at the NC Community College System Office in Raleigh.

As of November 1, the committee will welcome a new chair. Jerry Vaughan, State Board and Committee member from Charlotte, will replace Chair Clyde Higgs as he departs North Carolina to become Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. in Atlanta. Higgs’ resignation from the State Board is effective October 31.

The Presidential Search Committee meeting is open to the public and will be held in the System Office at 200 W. Jones Street in Raleigh.
