State Board of Community Colleges to Meet
RALEIGH – RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will hold its regularly scheduled two-day meeting September 14-15 in Raleigh. The meeting will begin Thursday at 10:45 a.m. with a session on Open Meetings Law and Public Records, followed by a Personnel Committee meeting at 12:00 p.m., and continuing with an Issues Luncheon. The luncheon will focus on Requisite Instruction for Student Excellence (RISE) delivered by Susan Barbitta, Associate Director of Special Projects in the Programs and Student Services Division.
Committee meetings will resume at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday; the full board will again convene on Friday morning at 9:00 am. The meetings are open to the public and will originate at the NC Community College System Office, 200 W. Jones Street, Raleigh, NC.
