State Board of Community Colleges to Meet

RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will hold its regularly scheduled meeting, Thursday and Friday, March 19 and 20, 2015, in Raleigh.

The Board will convene Thursday at 12 p.m. for a presentation outlining how North Carolina’s community colleges serve and support veterans as they transition from the military to the workforce.

Committee meetings begin at 1:30 p.m. The Policy Committee will receive an update on the current legislative session.  The Programs Committee will take action on various curriculum program applications.  The Finance Committee will take action on the allocation of financial aid awards.

The full Board will convene Friday at 9 a.m. All meetings are open to the public and will take place at the NC Community College System Office, 200 W. Jones Street in Raleigh.
