State Board of Community Colleges to meet April 19 and 20

RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will meet April 19 and 20 at the NC Community College System Office, 200 W. Jones St. The meeting is open to the public.

Prior to the board meeting, the Multi-Campus Funding Study Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. April 19. The committee was formed to review the board’s criteria for designating multi-campus centers.

The board’s Personnel Committee will meet at 11 a.m., followed at noon by an issues luncheon focusing on ApprenticeshipNC. The state’s registered-apprenticeship program became part of the Community College System last November. Kathryn Castelloes, director of ApprenticeshipNC, will be the guest speaker.

Committee meetings will resume at 1:30 p.m.; the full board will reconvene April 20 at 9 a.m.
