State Board of Community Colleges to meet Aug. 16-17 at Forsyth Tech

RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will meet Aug. 16 and 17 at Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem.

The meeting is open to the public and will take place in the Dewitt E. Rhoades Conference Center, located in the Robert L. Strickland Center on Forsyth Tech’s main campus.

The meeting will begin at 11 a.m. Aug. 16 with an information session about the NC Community College System’s 2018-19 budget. At noon, Forsyth Tech President Gary Green will host an issues luncheon focusing on the community college.

Committee meetings will begin at 1:30 p.m.

The full board will reconvene Aug. 17 at 9 a.m. in the Rhoades Conference Center.
