State Board of Community Colleges to Meet [Revised]

RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will hold its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18 in Troy, NC. The meeting is open to the public and will take place at Montgomery Community College.

Montgomery Community College’s President, Dr. Chad Bledsoe, will kick off the two-day meeting with a presentation about and tour of the college, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Committee meetings start at 1:30 p.m. The Finance Committee will hear updates on enrollment and budget, and will vote on several contracts related to information technology. The Programs Committee will consider two legislatively required reports including one on the NC Guaranteed Admissions Program (NCGAP) and on College and Career Readiness. The Strategic Planning, Accountability and Audit, Policy, Personnel as well as the Presidential Search committees will also meet on Thursday afternoon.

The full Board will convene Friday, March 18, at 9 a.m.
