- Your connection to community colleges? I served eight years on the Wake Tech Board and was able to see firsthand the incredible life opportunities that community college offers people of all ages and backgrounds to find a good job and build a good life here in NC.
- What do you love most about the NC Community College System? NC Community Colleges are a foundation for our state’s economic security for our citizens and an essential building block for securing the future economic health of our state. Whether educating, training, and retraining our existing workforce or providing the customized training companies looking to grow or expand in North Carolina, the great 58 are a key ingredient in North Carolina’s “secret sauce” that keeps us on top for private sector job growth.
- A fun fact about you? I’m a pharmacist and first-generation college grad. Of all the people who’ve hired me (5), 3 have been women.
