  • Your connection to community colleges? During the Extra Miles Tour, which took me to all 100 counties across the state, I had the unique privilege of visiting all 58 community colleges to gain insight into the impactful work they’re doing within their communities.
  • What do you love most about the NC Community College System? What I admire most about the Community College System is its deep commitment to serving communities across North Carolina. These institutions open doors to quality education and create pathways for individuals to build meaningful careers and earn a livable wage—making a lasting impact on lives and local economies.
  • A fun fact about you? I enjoy skating!
