- Other Affiliations: Prior to joining Healthkeeperz, I served in leadership roles focused on patient experience and service excellence at UNC Health Southeastern, where I led initiatives related to patient satisfaction, leadership coaching, employee engagement, complaint resolution, and culture transformation. My work earned national recognition, including being named to Becker’s Healthcare “54 Chief Experience Officers to Know in 2024. A proud member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, I remain deeply committed to serving my community and preserving the values of leadership, resilience, and service. As a former Miss Lumbee ambassador, I have long represented the Lumbee people with pride and continue to advocate for opportunities that strengthen education, healthcare, and economic development across the region. My civic and nonprofit leadership includes service with Communities In Schools of Robeson County, the Pembroke Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Robeson County, and other community organizations dedicated to improving quality of life throughout southeastern North Carolina.
- Your connection to community colleges? I bring extensive experience in higher education and foundation engagement through my service on the Robeson Community College Board of Trustees from 2017 to 2025. During my tenure, I actively supported institutional advancement efforts, alumni engagement initiatives, and annual fund development opportunities that strengthened student success and community impact. I have a deep appreciation for the transformative role community colleges play in changing lives, not only for graduates, but for entire families and future generations.
- What do you love most about the NC Community College System? I believe community colleges serve as powerful engines for economic mobility, workforce development, and regional progress, particularly throughout southeastern North Carolina.
- A fun fact about you? Former entertainer on a Casino Cruise Ship.
