Facilities Maintenance Technician (Repost)

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in building maintenance trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, painting) is required.
• Must be familiar with the safe and proper use of hand and power tools.
• Must be able to follow instructions and perform tasks independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have a working knowledge of computers and be able to communicate effectively with staff, students, and the public.
• A valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

A National Career Readiness Certificate and bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.

Assist with or perform various tasks related to the maintenance of buildings, including electrical, lighting, plumbing, carpentry, heating and air conditioning systems, as well as automotive maintenance.
