Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Education, Liberal Studies, or related field; 1 year of job-related experience. Knowledge of computer skills/knowledge of MS Office products

Position Description

Audits student records for purposes of degree, diploma, certificate, or Adult High School graduation, to assist with the planning and execution of the College’s two annual graduation ceremonies, and to actively ensure that all graduates of the College meet or exceed the minimum standards and requirements set forth by SACS, NCCCS and CPCC. This position provides support for the Director of Graduation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assists with printing official copies of appropriate degrees, diplomas, and certificates to award the students. 
2. Manages the department’s annual program outcome and assessment. 
3. Coordinates the Reverse Transfer Program. 
4. Updates the department’s program exceptions and overrides. 
5. Develops and provides oversight of graduation correspondence delivered via communications management and other methods. 
6. Audits potential graduates’ records against program completion requirements; completes final audit of students’ records and certifies those who have met all program requirements as graduates of the appropriate degree, diploma, certificate or the Adult High School program. 
7. Ensures all graduates meet or exceed the program completion requirements of CPCC, NCCCS, and SACS. 
8. Works with faculty and staff in developing proactive solutions to graduation related issues. 
9. Researches requests from former students and graduates by locating and reviewing historical student records; confirms and updates student graduation records when appropriate. 
10. Serves as an active member of the graduation committee and assists with planning annual graduation ceremony.
