Jennifer Coffman, an Adjunct Instructor in the College and Career Readiness program at Cleveland Community College, received the Jean Harry Francis Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Teaching award in recognition of her student-centered approach to education.
Embodying the Dallas Herring philosophy of meeting students where they are, Coffman creates a welcoming and supportive classroom environment where students feel valued, capable, and empowered to succeed.
Through engaging instruction, technology-enhanced learning, real-world applications, and individualized support, she helps students build both academic skills and self-confidence. Colleagues noted her ability to create an atmosphere where students feel they belong and are encouraged to believe in their own potential.
Coffman’s impact is reflected not only in student achievement but also in the confidence and resilience her students develop as they pursue their educational and personal goals.
