State Board of Community Colleges schedules January meetings

RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will conduct a series of meetings Jan. 16-18.

All the meetings are open to the public, but some portions may be conducted in closed session, pursuant to state law.

The schedule is as follows:

• Jan. 16 – The Personnel Committee will meet by teleconference at 10 a.m. The call will originate at the NC Community College System Office, 200 W. Jones St., Raleigh.
• Jan. 17 – Other State Board committees will meet at the System Office beginning at 11 a.m. An issues luncheon featuring a discussion on board governance will take place at noon, and committee meetings will resume at 1:30 p.m.
• Jan. 18 – The board will meet at 10 a.m. at the Department of Insurance, 325 N. Salisbury St.
