State Board of Community Colleges to Meet
RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will hold its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday and Friday, February 18 and 19 in Raleigh. The Personnel Committee will open the two-day meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 18. The issues luncheon will follow at noon with an update on data topics within the NC Community College System, including data governance and the SAS dashboard.
Committee meetings will resume at 1:30 p.m. The Programs and Strategic Planning committees will meet jointly to hear information on the NC Guaranteed Admission Program (NC GAP), and the Finance Committee will take votes on the 2016 budget priorities, as well as allocations for the NC Career Coaches.
The full Board will convene Friday, February 19 at 9 a.m. All meetings are open to the public and will take place in the NC Community College System Office at 200 W. Jones Street in Raleigh.
