State Board of Community Colleges to meet March 15-16; Transition Committee to meet March 16

RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will meet March 15 and 16 at the NC Community College System Office, 200 W. Jones St.

The board’s Transition Committee, which is conducting the search for the community college system’s next president, will meet March 16 at 11 a.m.

The meetings are open to the public.

The board meeting will begin March 15 at 11:15 a.m. with a Personnel Committee meeting, followed at noon by an issues luncheon focusing on disability services. Presenters will be Daniel Alvarado and Trudie Hughes, both of the NC Community College System’s Programs and Student Services Division.

Committee meetings will resume at 1:30 p.m.; the full board will reconvene March 16 at 9 a.m.
