UPDATED: State Board of Community Colleges schedules November meetings

NOTE: Updated to reflect change in the start time for the Board Governance Committee meeting.

RALEIGH – The State Board of Community Colleges will conduct a series of meetings Nov. 13-16.

All the meetings are open to the public, but some portions may be conducted in closed session, pursuant to state law.

The schedule is as follows:

• Nov. 13 – The Personnel Committee will meet by teleconference at 10 a.m. The call will originate at the NC Community College System Office, 200 W. Jones St., Raleigh.
• Nov. 15 – Other State Board committees will meet in the Frank L. Eagles Center at Wilson Community College, 902 Herring Ave. E., Wilson, beginning at 1:30 p.m. An issues luncheon hosted by WCC President Tim Wright will precede them at noon.
• Nov. 16 – The board will reconvene at 9 a.m. at the Department of State Treasurer, 3200 Atlantic Ave., Raleigh. Following the board meeting, the Board Governance Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m.
