Passionate about solving everyday challenges through innovation, Julia is building a platform that strengthens campus communities while providing students with a secure, convenient way to connect and support one another.

Julia Blazinic is the founder behind Campusent, a student-only marketplace designed to help college students buy and sell services and items within their campus communities. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Julia is building Campusent to create a safer, more convenient way for students to connect, exchange resources, and support one another locally.
Her background in HRIS, analytics, and automation gives her a strong technical foundation for developing scalable systems, improving workflows, and turning complex data into practical solutions. Julia’s experience with Power Platform tools, SQL, Power BI, APIs, and process automation informs her approach to building a marketplace that is both user-focused and operationally sustainable. She was inspired to apply to the SBNC Startup Showdown after receiving mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and advisors, which helped her refine her vision and recognize Campusent’s potential impact.
The Small Business Center at Charlotte Piedmont Community College has supported her with mentorship, feedback, and resources to validate the business model and prepare for launch. Julia lives by the motto, “Make it real before you make it perfect.” In her free time, she enjoys playing the bassoon in several wind ensembles in Charlotte. Her work blends entrepreneurship, technology, and community-centered problem solving for students today.
