Justin Thibodeau is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran whose career in aviation maintenance, aircrew operations, and technical leadership has been defined by precision and innovation. Inspired by his experience with unmanned aircraft systems and advanced imaging technology, Justin is channeling decades of technical expertise into building a business that delivers modern inspection solutions while continuing a lifetime of service.

About
Justin Thibodeau is a United States Coast Guard veteran with more than twenty years of experience in aviation maintenance, aircrew operations, and technical leadership. Beginning his career as an Avionics Electrical Technician, he advanced through roles in aircraft maintenance, Quality Assurance, and shift maintenance supervision, positions that demanded precision, safety, and disciplined problem-solving.
Justin was also flight crew, serving as a Navigator on the HC130H, and a Mission Systems Operator on the HC144 and HC130J, operating sensors including radar, communications systems, and FLIR imaging during search and rescue and maritime patrol missions. During his assignment in Kodiak, Alaska, Justin began flying drones as a way to stay engaged in a remote environment. That interest quickly evolved into a technical pursuit, leading him to earn his FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. He has since expanded his expertise by completing the Level I's UAS Infrared Thermographer Certification through the Infraspection Institute, formalizing his skills in thermal imaging and sensor-based data collection.
Justin is now preparing to launch Coastal Aerial Inspections & Analysis, a veteran owned drone inspection and analytics company currently in its preoperational phase. He is developing technical workflows, safety protocols, and service offerings that will shape the business. Driven by a desire to continue serving through problem solving, precision, and innovation, Justin is creating a business that blends advanced technology with practical value for clients across multiple industries. His long-term vision is to build a scalable company that brings highly skilled, modern inspection services to the region.
