A Raleigh native and third-generation business owner, Lisa Jeffries Nobling is a data-driven marketing expert and entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience. A "Double Pack" alumna of NC State University, Lisa holds a dual master’s degree in Global Luxury Management from the Poole College of Management and SKEMA Business School. Her latest venture, The Borrow Bar, is a pre-launch membership service redefining the sharing economy for Wake County. By providing delivery-first access to high-quality household and entertaining goods, Lisa is championing "intentional access" over the burdens of ownership.
A lifelong learner and community connector, Lisa is a firm believer that the entrepreneurial path is best traveled with a pack. She approaches the Startup Showdown with a "salt water" ethos—relying on sweat, resilience, and collective wisdom to refine her products in real time. Outside of building brands, Lisa is a dedicated advocate for animal welfare, a lifetime member of Bourbon Women, and a devoted NC State fan. Whether she’s navigating the complexities of a high-growth startup or enjoying a sunset boat ride, Lisa is committed to launching ventures that make life more intentional and connected.
