Ruthie Holloman serves as Director of the Small Business Center at Nash Community College, where she leads initiatives that equip entrepreneurs with the tools, strategy, and confidence to build sustainable and scalable businesses. Through strategic programming, mentorship, and community partnerships, she works to strengthen North Carolina's entrepreneurial ecosystem and expand opportunities for business growth.
A proud alumna of Vance-Granville Community College, Ruthie earned associate degrees in Business Administration and Accounting before completing a Bachelor of Science from the Johnson & Wales University School of Business. Her educational background, combined with extensive professional development and industry certifications, provides a strong foundation for helping entrepreneurs navigate financial management, operational strategy, and business development.
Under Ruthie's leadership, the Small Business Center has expanded access to entrepreneurial education, strengthened partnerships throughout the community, and launched high-impact programs that support founders from the earliest stages of business development through long-term growth. She is particularly passionate about increasing access for underrepresented entrepreneurs and creating pathways for businesses in rural communities to thrive.
