About

The Healthcare Support Services curriculum provides individuals with structured, sequential preparation for entry into healthcare career pathways. Students will develop knowledge and skills in HIPAA compliance, bloodborne pathogen standards, CPR/BLS, healthcare communication, medical terminology, medical equipment safety, and interprofessional teamwork. Graduates are eligible to earn an CPR/BLS certification, an OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification, and develop a Pathway Transition Plan to an entry level healthcare program.
