NCCCS and the University of North Carolina System

Transfer Advisory Committees (TACs)

The North Carolina Community College System works in partnership with the University of North Carolina System to support strong, consistent transfer pathways for students across the state. Through the Transfer Advisory Committees (TACs), faculty and system partners review, maintain, and improve statewide transfer agreements to ensure they remain clear, current, and responsive to student, institutional, and workforce needs.

These committees play an important role in strengthening credit mobility between North Carolina’s community colleges and four-year institutions. Their work supports alignment across academic programs, improves transparency for advisors and students, and helps ensure that transfer agreements continue to provide reliable pathways toward bachelor’s degree completion.

You can find a complete list of agreements here.
