Direct Support

Many community college students experience housing and food insecurity as well as challenges meeting needs for childcare, healthcare, and transportation. The NC SSC uses innovative programming to meet immediate student and colleges needs.

Sometimes these efforts involve leveraging resources to provide services from outside vendors. In other cases, NC SSC staff make expensive programs available to colleges at no cost.
