Ellucian’s Intelligent Learning Platform (ILP)
Serves as the integration layer between Canvas, or any learning management system (LMS), and an ERP such as Colleague. It enables secure, automated data exchange by synchronizing student, faculty, and course information from Colleague (or Banner) to the LMS in near real time. ILP automates the provisioning, updating, and deactivation of user accounts, ensuring individuals have access to the appropriate courses and roles when needed. By eliminating manual account management, ILP reduces administrative effort, improves data accuracy, and maintains consistency across institutional systems.
Timeline
- The State Board of Community Colleges approved the purchase of ILP for all 58 community colleges at its May 15, 2026, meeting. The contract with Ellucian was signed June 30. The term is 7/1/26-6/30/27. (FC-04-Contract-for-Intelligent-Learning-Platform.pdf)
